Elizabeth Chambers Just Shut Down Backlash Over That Video of Armie Hammer's Son Sucking His Toes
Armie Hammer shared a video of his son sucking on his toes, and he's getting a ton of backlash on Twitter.
Armie's wife Elizabeth Chambers defended him, saying "this phase is an ongoing joke" and that their "children’s safety and well-being is always our first priority."
Hello and welcome to today in weird news no one was prepared for. You may have noticed that Armie Hammer was recently trending on Twitter due to a viral video of his toddler sucking on his toes, and yeah. People have thoughts. To be clear, little kids love chewing on random things, including fingers, keys, and whatever else they can get their hands on. But still, Twitter was not prepared for the video in question, and plenty of parenting-shaming is going on—to the point where Armie's wife, super-succesful bakery owner Elizabeth Chambers, has chimed in defending him.
First of all, this is the video. Honestly, whatever, kids will be kids!

Some people were seriously upset, calling out Armie's parenting.
Sometimes... sometimes you just shouldn't click on trending hashtags. I want those seven seconds back 😭😭😭 #armiehammer needs some serious help. And his wife. Or whomever that kid's mother is. pic.twitter.com/D8XGZnSnfU

Due to this video going viral faster than you can say "slow day on the internet," Elizabeth went ahead and responded to a post on Perez Hilton's Instagram, saying "it wasn’t seven minutes...more like five seconds. Our son likes to play with people’s feet and I put the video on our family stream because this phase is an ongoing joke. Sharing the video on Instagram was def not the best move on A’s part, but I can assure you that our children’s safety and well-being is always our first priority."
Kay, let's all move on, yeah?
