The internet's daddy stopped Reese Witherspoon and Elizabeth Banks in their tracks at an event, and the Cocaine Bear director is gushing about it on Instagram.
It's unclear exactly when the encounter occurred—or if it's actually more of an example of how they would react if the Last of Us star walked past them—since Banks, 49, appeared to post the photos specifically to wish Witherspoon a happy 47th birthday yesterday, but either way, fans have never related to them more.
The shots found the pair dressed to the nines, surrounded by men in suits and closely engaged in conversation. As Banks looks shocked in the first photo, with Witherspoon locking eyes with someone over her shoulder, we like to imagine that the Morning Show star is carefully narrating Pascal's every move while encouraging Banks not to make it obvious.
Banks has broken out in laughter in the next picture as Witherspoon holds her finger up in the air in a little wave, smiling at someone out of frame.
"When Pedro Pascal walks by us at an event…" she captioned the photoset, going on to wish her friend a happy birthday.
