Eggo Has 5 New Waffles Hitting the Freezer Aisle

And one new pancake!

No matter how long it's been since you last had a frozen waffle, there’s likely only one brand that comes to mind when you think of the quick breakfast option: Eggo. It’s the only frozen waffle worthy of fighting over—you know, L’Eggo my Eggo—and is definitely the only brand eaten by kids with superpowers.

While Eggo has recently solidified itself as a brand for kids and adults alike—thanks to its launch of the boozy Eggo Brunch in a Jar Sippin’ Cream with Sugarlands Distilling Co.—everybody knows what the brand really does best is its fabulous toaster-friendly waffles. And, as if our selection of frozen waffles wasn’t already hard enough to choose from, Eggo just added six new waffles and pancakes to its lineup.

Eggo Releases New Fully Loaded Waffles

The biggest product in the launch is an all-new portfolio of “Fully Loaded” waffles, the most protein-packed offering the brand has ever had. The Fully Loaded waffles offer 10 grams of protein per two waffles and, in flavors like Chocolate Chip Brownie and Strawberry Delight, still promise a delicious taste.

Eggo’s Fully Loaded Chocolate Chip Brownie is made with a fudgy, chocolatey batter and chocolate chips, while the Fully Loaded Strawberry Delight has a strawberry-infused batter for a fruity flavor.

Kellanova plans to market these waffles to parents of teens who have a bigger appetite and want to feel fuller for longer—so, with the new waffles, also comes a new merch drop. Sneakerheads will love the new Eggo Fully Loaded Kickes from Dominic “The Surgeon” Ciambrone and SRGN. The limited-edition, waffle-inspired shoes will drop on Urban Necessities’ site on May 17 at 12 p.m. EST, where they’ll cost $150 per pair. Each pair includes both flavors of Fully Loaded Waffles, and all the proceeds benefit No Kid Hungry to provide 1,500 meals per shoe to kids in need.

You will have to wait for the shoes, but luckily, Eggo’s Fully Loaded waffles are available now at retailers nationwide. And, they’re not the only new frozen breakfast options on shelves now.

Eggo's Newest Innovations

This spring, Eggo is rolling out new Cinnamon Churro Waffles, Dark Chocolate Chip Thick and Fluffy Waffles, Mixed Berry Pancakes, and Chocolate Chip Belgian Style Street Waffles.

The Cinnamon Churro flavor joins Eggo’s traditional waffle lineup but with a cinnamon-sugar flavor reminiscent of the Spanish dessert. Its Dark Chocolate Chip Thick and Fluffy Waffle is the latest in the five-product lineup of thicker, golden waffles—this time packed with rich dark chocolate chips.

Eggo’s frozen pancake line is smaller, but just as delicious, and the new pancake loaded with mixed berry flavor is a welcomed addition.

Lastly, the Chocolate Chip Belgian Style Street Waffle joins the innovative toaster-less line of waffles that can be enjoyed thawed straight from the package. The new flavor has a sweet, brioche-style dough loaded with real butter and chocolate chips.

All six of Eggo’s new products are available in the frozen breakfast aisle now. The only question is: Do you have the freezer space for all six boxes?
