We listed the Google Nest Thermostat as the best budget option, and given that you can save over $40 on it with this sale, that is even more true now. On the other hand, we named the Google Nest Learning Thermostat best for Google Home users, though you don't have to have lots of Google Home devices to get good use out of this thermostat.

The Google Nest Learning Thermostat is about $100 more than the Google Nest Thermostat right now, but it is more advanced. Both smart thermostats can also be set from your smartphone, so you can turn heating or cooling down while you're out and/or turn it up when you're on your way home, for example. And both come in a variety of color options, most of which are on sale. If you're really looking to maximize savings on your electric bill, though, Google Nest Thermostat's Savings Finder feature is something you'll appreciate, since it can help you easily make changes for better energy efficiency.

If you're trying to determine which one would be best for your home, we'd recommend the Google Nest Thermostat if you're in for a smart thermostat that won't cost you an arm and a leg, and like the Google Nest Learning Thermostat if you want a more advanced and adaptive pick.
