In an interview with BuzzFeed, Rachel Eck alleges that Ed Westwick sexually assaulted her at the Sunset Marquis in West Hollywood in 2014. Eck is the third woman to come forward this month and accuse the Gossip Girl actor of assault, following allegations made by actress Kristina Cohen and former actress Aurélie Wynn, who both described on Facebook incidents that happened in 2014. Westwick has denied Cohen and Wynn's allegations and on Nov. 9, revealed that he is "cooperating with the authorities so that they can clear my name as soon as possible."

According to Eck, who was a 23-year-old executive assistant at the time of the incident, her ex-boyfriend invited her to hang out at Westwick’s house at around 2:30 a.m., the night before the 2014 Academy Awards. “When I didn’t bring a girl for him he turned his sights on me,” Eck tells BuzzFeed, revealing that she was sexually assaulted by Westwick that night. She adds that he tried to “kiss me or kind of push me up against the wall” whenever her ex-boyfriend was not in the room. Over a seven-hour period, Eck alleges that things “got worse and he got more handsy,” with Westwick at one point “aggressively” groping her breasts. “I shoved him off as quickly as I could and left.”

As BuzzFeed points out, in wake of the allegations, the BBC announced on Friday that plans to air Westwick’s new miniseries have been shelved “until these matters are resolved.” In a statement, the BBC also confirmed that the actor has “paused from filming” White Gold, a series that airs on Netflix in the U.S. The Los Angeles Police Department is currently investigating Cohen's allegations after the actress filed a report, People reported last week.
