Sometime in 2015: After first meeting in school in Suffolk, they officially start dating in 2015. They're first linked when they're spotted in New York together.

March 15, 2017: The singer sweetly explains how the song 'Perfect' from his 'Divide' album was inspired by Cherry.

"The line that goes, 'Barefoot on the grass, listening to our favourite song' was about when we were in Ibiza listening to Future’s March Madness literally not wearing any shoes and going mental on the lawn, which was quite a nice time."

January 20, 2018: Ed confirms that he and Cherry are officially engaged! "Got myself a fiancé just before new year," he captions a sweet picture of the couple hugging. "We are very happy and in love, and our cats are chuffed as well."

"It was very quiet – just Ed’s oldest school pals, limited family and the priest," a source told The Sun at the time. "There were only 40 people – so no Taylor Swift, record company executives or any royals or pop star pals. He wanted no fuss and he wanted it to be something entirely for them – just a tiny winter wedding."
