Ed Sheeran and Cherry Seaborn Secretly Welcomed Their Second Child

The Seaborn Sheeran family is officially a little bigger because Ed Sheeran and his wife, Cherry Seaborn, just secretly welcome their second child. Surprise!
The couple recently welcomed another daughter (their oldest, Lyra Antarctica, turns two later this summer) and, naturally, Ed shared the happy (and totally unexpected) news on Instagram.
"Want to let you all know we’ve had another beautiful baby girl," he wrote in the caption of the post, which included a picture of tiny, adorable little baby socks. "We are both so in love with her, and over the moon to be a family of 4 x."
Ed announced Lyra's birth in a similar sock-picture-IG back in early September 2020, a week after she was born.
"Ello! A quick message from me as I have some personal news that I wanted to share with you...," he wrote with the OG baby socks pic for Lyra's big intro to the world. "Last week, with the help of an amazing delivery team, Cherry gave birth to our beautiful and healthy daughter - Lyra Antarctica Seaborn Sheeran. We are completely in love with her. Both mum and baby are doing amazing and we are on cloud nine over here. We hope that you can respect our privacy at this time. Lots of love and I’ll see you when it’s time to come back, Ed x."
Ed and Cherry have a pretty private parenting style, but the singer hasn't been shy at all about how fatherhood has changed him for the better.
"I became a dad and I feel like my lifestyle shift has changed. Instead of going to bed at six [a.m.], I'm getting up at four," he explained during a June 2021 appearance on The Late Late Show. "It just feels like what life was meant to be. It's great. I'm healthier than I've ever been. I'm exercising every day... I'm spending so much time at home making the record. Yeah, I feel like a human being. It's good."
