Ed Sheeran Announces His (Secret) Engagement

Ed Sheeran is engaged! The singer announced on Instagram this morning that he is set to wed his longtime girlfriend Cherry Seaborn. The couple were engaged just before the new year (which means, yes, they have been keeping it a secret this entire month). Sheeran said in the caption, "Got myself a fiancé just before new year. We are very happy and in love, and our cats are chuffed as well." Sheeran and Seaborn have known each other since high school, but only officially became a couple in 2015. He has also dedicated his music to her, where Seaborn particularly inspired his hit single "Perfect." Though no dates or details have been released, the wedding is sure to be a romantic affair if it's anything like Sheeran's music and lyrics.
