An Ecologist Finds Love in Hawai'i in Hallmark Channel's 'Aloha Heart' (Exclusive)
While we just had a taste of what's to come this holiday season with Christmas in July movies on Hallmark Channel, we still have summer to get through. Hopefully, many of you will be able to enjoy some fun and sun at the beach or other large body of water. If you can't get away or don't want to leave the comfort of your air-conditioned home, beat the heat with summer movies. Hallmark's Summer Nights lineup of films will take you on safari, to a music festival, and to wine country. The first stop is Hawaii with Aloha Heart.

What is Aloha Heart about?
Manu (Kanoa Goo) loves his Hawaiian homeland. His heart is in conservation, knowing full well his family’s hotel needs to make big changes to how the business operates for sustainability of the precious lands it sits on. His family resists his costly suggestions, wanting to stay competitive with bigger resort hotels on the islands. Sara Hamilton (Taylor Cole) is the best friend and maid of honor in her friend’s wedding, which is being held at Manu’s hotel. She has had trouble getting her foot into the world of environmental protection and is starting to lose hope she’ll be able to pursue what matters most to her. When Sara and Manu meet, she has all kinds of suggestions for making the hotel a more sustainable business, but her overzealous approach only rubs Manu the wrong way. Leading up to the wedding, Manu and Sara find out they are in fact kindred spirits. Manu needs help getting his family on board to manage the business the right way, and Sara needs to balance her work passion with enjoying life that is too quickly passing by. In the partnership that forms, they discover they make the right kind of team, especially as an unexpected love for each other enriches their dream of making the world a better place.

Meet the cast of Aloha Heart
Taylor Cole (Sara)
Cole has been a fixture at Hallmark Channel, starring in popular movies on the network like One Winter Weekend, My Summer Prince, and Making Spirits Bright. Cole's stepfather is actor Shawn Christian. The two have appeared together on Summerland and Ruby Herring Mysteries.
Kanoa Goo (Manu)
Goo is a Hawaiian native and has appeared in prominent roles on The Rookie, Fire Country, and Dwight in Shining Armor. He has had guest starring roles on NCIS: Hawai'i, Hawaii Five-O, and City on a Hill. This is his first Hallmark movie (and hopefully not his last!)
