Eat Your Way Through Europe on This 15-Day Private Jet 'Grand Tour'

The extravagant trip begins at $139,500 per person, which includes a contribution to the Rainforest Trust to offset carbon emissions.

Red Savannah, a luxury travel company specializing in restorative getaways, is ready to take you on a journey through Europe you’ll never forget.

In October, the company announced its plans to launch its inaugural Grand Tour of Europe by Private Jet. The first trip is set to depart on September 12, 2023, and it will travel through some of Europe’s best destinations, including London, Sicily, the Greek Islands, and more, all aboard a fully-kitted private jet.

In total, just 15 travelers will get to step aboard for the one-of-a-kind tour via the custom-configured, all-first-class Embraer Legacy ERJ135. And it’s not just the seats that are cool. All the onboard meals are designed exclusively by London members-only dining club Mosimann’s. Though no specific details of the meals have been released just yet, you can expect world-class bites. Mosimann’s has been behind the food at various Olympic events and the 2014 World Cup, and it was even awarded a Royal Warrant from HRH the Prince of Wales in 2000.

At each destination, guests can disembark and choose to either go on the exclusive tour or join the small group experiences. The group experiences include everything from exploring Palermo’s historic streets by Vespa to a private tour and tasting at one of Sicily’s most historic wineries, and guests can also enjoy private boat charters to islands in the Cyclades and Croatia’s beautiful Elaphiti archipelago.

The menu of individual activities is equally delicious. It includes tasting your way around the food markets of Palermo’s Capo and Vucciria districts with a local expert to a tour of Dubrovnik’s historic city walls, which includes a Dalmatian cookery class.

“The Grand Tour of Europe offers a new paradigm, using a much smaller private jet to connect some of Europe’s greatest sites, without the need for non-stop travel around multiple airports,” George Morgan-Grenville, founder and CEO of Red Savannah, shared in a statement provided to Food & Wine. “Exclusivity is the hallmark, and in addition to superlative group events, each guest will have a choice between independent privately guided sightseeing, or time to enjoy the facilities of some of the best hotels in Europe or both.” 

Guests are also invited to attend cocktail receptions and dinners at special venues and inclusive independent dining at a carefully-curated selection of restaurants in each destination, including a special event under London’s Wellington Arch.

The Grand Tour begins at $139,500 per person based on two people sharing a room. However, this price is only valid through January 31. Thereafter it will be $145,000 per person. The price is inclusive of all private jet flights with luxury in-flight catering with menus; five-star accommodation on a bed-and-breakfast basis throughout; most lunches; all dinners including special events, as well as independent dining; the welcome cocktail party and dinner in London; and the farewell cocktail party and dinner in Venice.

The price also includes a contribution to the Rainforest Trust to balance the carbon emissions by all private jet flights, as well as flights to and from the journey start and end points. See more about the tour and book your seat here.
