Easter brunch at Disney Springs restaurants: What's your favorite festive flavor?
What’s a holiday without a trip to Walt Disney World for a visit to an attraction or two, some of the best people-watching on the planet and a good meal?
If you can do without the major attractions and simply want a stroll, some shopping and the aforementioned dining, there’s always Disney Springs, where 10 restaurants will have special Easter fare dinners.
Most have not completed menus and so information remains limited, but:
Art Smith’s Homecomin’, 1602 Buena Vista Drive, will offer its Sunday brunch at the usual time, 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., and although the final menu is not yet out, the likes of feast-appropriate Church Lady Deviled Eggs ($14) and the Hallelujah Biscuit ($26) – an open-faced biscuit topped with fried chicken, two over-easy eggs, pimento cheese and pecan-smoked bacon, smothered in sawmill gravy -- will be there. Call 407-560-0100. www.homecominkitchen.com.
Jaleo by José Andrés, 1482 E. Buena Vista Drive, will feature a brunch menu with signature dishes such as Carne Asada con Huevo Frito ($24), or grilled flat iron steak with fried egg, potatoes and mojo verde and Flauta de Tortilla de Patatas ($15), a traditional flauta sandwich with fresh tomato and Spanish omelet. Hours are 11:30 a.m. to 3:55 p.m. The restaurant also will host the Rumba Bunch from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Jaleo is open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Call 321-348-3411. www.jaleo.com/location/jaleo-disney-springs
