Designed to exceed industry standards, the Safe Shield Battery is available in both external and semi-integrated 15Ah configurations, each UL Certified to UL 2271. Utilizing a proprietary heat-absorbing resin, these batteries provide unparalleled protection against overheating and corrosion.

In the event of thermal instability, the resin acts as a barrier, preventing the spread of potential hazards and enhancing rider safety. Additionally, Rad Power Bikes has established partnerships for battery recycling, ensuring sustainable disposal through programs like Redwood Materials.

Accompanying this groundbreaking battery technology are four new e-bike models, including the Radster Trail and Radster Road, along with updates to fan favorites, the RadWagon 5 and RadExpand 5 Plus. All models boast UL Certification to UL 2849, embodying Rad Power Bikes' unwavering commitment to safety and quality.
