Your Dyson vacuum isn’t the only product from the brand that’ll find a spot in your home. The technology company has just unveiled a new range of purification technology that aims to deliver cleaner air in your space while also providing cooling and heating — so you can say goodbye to dust, pollen, and mold.

The line includes the Dyson Purifier Cool, Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool, and Dyson Purifier Cool Formaldehyde. The latest air-purifying technology is reflected in the sensing filtration, and acoustics, and meet the high efficiency particulate air (HEPA) H13 standard. This air filter can theoretically remove at least 99.97% of dust, pollen, mold, bacteria, and any airborne particles with a size of 0.3 microns (µm), as described by the United States Environmental Protection Agency.

Part of this technology also includes formaldehyde sensing, capturing, and destroying.

Formaldehyde is a colorless, strong-smelling gas used in many household products, such as paint and furniture. It can cause irritation of the skin, eyes, nose, and throat, and high levels of exposure may cause some types of cancer. Case in point: You want to know if it’s lingering in your home.

“The off-gassing tendency of formaldehyde means that it can go undetected in a home for years. Dyson has engineered a machine that provides accurate and successful sensing, capture and destruction of the pollutant,” Alex Knox, vice president of environmental care at Dyson, said in a press release. “Our solid-state-senior doesn’t dry out over time, lasting the lifetime of the machine. The COVID-19 pandemic has raised global awareness about the air that we breathe and Dyson’s commitment to providing cleaner air through innovation and technology remains at the forefront of our mission.”

The new line from Dyson officially launches on May 13, and the four featured products range from $549.99 to $749.99. Some of the models offer heating, others have the formaldehyde sensing and destruction, and some have both. So take a look at the different styles to see what’s best for you.
