Dylan Sprouse and Hannah Marks Banter in Exclusive Clip From New Rom-Com "Banana Split"

At first glance, Banana Split has all the hallmarks of a typical teen movie. Best friends Nick and April (Dylan Sprouse and Hannah Marks, who also co-wrote the film) start dating, things go sour, and then they eventually break up. But that's only the beginning of this film — April's broken heart eventually starts healing once she strikes up a friendship with a girl named Clara (Liana Liberato). The only problem is that Clara just so happens to be Nick's new girlfriend.

The trailer for Banana Split (directed by Ben Kasulke) came out earlier this month and teased the fallout between the two exes and April's unexpected new buddy, including the rules that she and Clara have: No talking about Nick and no telling Nick. Teen Vogue now has an exclusive clip from the movie, which offers a glimpse at reconciliation between April and Nick.

After teasing each other's odd habits and behaviors such as eating hummus with fingers (and Nick's failure to pronounce arugula correctly), things take a turn when the two exes start talking about their past feelings.

"It's because I had a demented crush on you," Nick says. "Pretty sure you had a crush on me too."

April replies, "I don't recall." To which Nick asks, "So then we just dated for two years after that?"

She then finally admits, "I had a huge crush on you."

Banana Split will be available on March 27th on demand and digital. Check out the exclusive clip below.
