Dylan Mulvaney gives fans an update on healing after face surgery
TikTok star Dylan Mulvaney *almost* gave fans a face reveal over the weekend, taking to the social media platform to give an update on her healing journey after undergoing Facial Feminisation Surgery (FFS).
To recap, FFS encompasses a broad range of procedures to change the shape of the face to look more feminine, and examples include having the hairline moved to create a smaller forehead, having lips and cheekbones augmented or having the jaw and chin reshaped and resized.
"I haven't healed all the way," Dylan told her 10 million followers, adding that she needs about "two more weeks" until she's ready to unveil her new appearance. "The results are going so well," she teased, emphasising that she loves how her FFS turned out and is sure her fans are "gonna love it" too.
Earlier in the week, Dylan took to TikTok once again to give a more in-depth update on how she's healing up. "Healing is going amazing," she wrote alongside a photo of her bandaged face. "I'm the happiest I've ever been."
She also commented on what it's been like having time out of the spotlight for pretty much the first time since going public with her transition. "Who knew privacy could be so good for a transition?" Dylan went on, although admitting she "can't wait" to catch her fans up on "everything".
"I can tell you’re glowing with happiness!!!" one person said in response to her TikTok, as another wrote: "The healing is going so well! You look even more beautiful and I’m so happy for you!"
