Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is the ultimate multi-hyphenate. He's been a celeb for practically forever and has cemented his status as an actor, an iconic pro wrestler, and my personal fave Moana animated character. And through most of his career, his wife Lauren Hashian has been his literal rock (heh) and has stuck by his side. While Lauren keeps her life a little more private than the A-list star, in the name of needing to know absolutely everything, we've gone ahead and found out all the deets about The Rock's wife and partner of over 15 (!!) years. You're welcome!

First Things First: Lauren Is a Talented Singer

Music definitely runs in this family. Lauren kicked off her career after she won a talent competition at Emerson College in Massachusetts and has been working on her craft ever since, going on to appear in a number of shows including 2005's RU The Girl? During her time on the reality TV music competition, which was hosted by TLC's Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins and Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas, Lauren even wound up making it as one of the show's finalists!

Since then, she has released several incredible singles, including “Ride the Wave” and “Make Your Move” and has also performed during epic sports events. Ahem, witness:

During a 2017 interview with Vydia, Lauren opened up about how supportive her husband The Rock is of her career and how he even inspires her songs: “Honestly, if I impress him with a track then I feel accomplished, it’s true! He is an example of how anything you can imagine or dream up, you can do because he lives that way. So when you see that every day, it fuels you & lifts you up too. Also, being in love is a very inspiring thing—ALL of our experiences, from the good to the fun to the hot to even the not so good, provide great inspiration to write from.”

Another fun fact: The gifted mother-of-two's late father Sib Hashian was a famous drummer in the legendary American rock band Boston! Oh, and turns out Lauren *also* just so happens to be a music producer and a composer as well. Meanwhile, I'm still out here butchering the “Happy Birthday” song, but whatevs! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Lauren Met Dwayne When He “Wasn’t Looking for Something”

At least, that's what we know according to reports from People, which said the couple first crossed paths in 2006 while The Rock was filming The Game Plan. At that time, Dwayne was actually married to producer and professional bodybuilder Dany Garcia, with whom he shares daughter Simone Alexandria. The two subsequently announced their separation in 2007, and some time later, The Rock and Lauren began dating.

“Within 30 seconds, I thought, 'Wow, this girl’s stunning,'” the Black Adam star said of his now-wife during a 2019 interview with WSJ Magazine. “At the time, I was going through my breakup with Dany, and she was just coming off a big breakup too. Ironically, when you’re not looking for something, the power of the universe kind of takes over.”

When reflecting back on the early days of his 'ship with Lauren, the Fast & Furious actor also told People he felt extremely lucky to have fallen in love all over again, gushing, “To fall in love again? That’s a hard thing to do twice in the position I’m in. I’m one lucky son of a bitch.”

As for The Rock's co-parenting relationship with his ex Dany? It sounds fantastic! Despite their breakup, the producer asked if she could be Dwayne's manager in 2008—a position she's held ever since, per Marie Claire.

They Share Two Kids Together

The Rock and Lauren have two adorable daughters named Jasmine and Tiana. The couple welcomed Jasmine in December 2015 and subsequently welcomed Tiana in April 2018. And, yes, the duo has posted the C-U-T-E-S-T content of them to their feeds.

Over the years, The Rock has routinely praised his wife's parenting skills, even telling People back in 2016, “Watching Lauren be a mom has been one of the most enlightening things I’ve ever seen. As a man, you see your lady, your partner, your woman, your one, you see them in a certain light, and then when they become Mom, it’s a whole other perspective that if you open your eyes wide enough, it’s like a kaleidoscope.” Obsessed!

The Couple Got Married in Hawaii 🌴

Despite meeting back in 2007, the couple didn't tie the knot until over a decade later in 2019. But honestly, the duo's relationship seemed so strong that they may as well have been married. Back in 2018, Dwayne even dished to Entertainment Tonight, “I just refer to her as my wife all the time. So a lot of people are like, 'Oh, did you get married?' I'm like, 'No. Easy. Don't rush big daddy.'”

On August 18, 2019, the couple finally exchanged vows in a beautiful ceremony that The Rock gushed about on Instagram.

Our Hawaiian wedding was beautiful and I want to thank our incredible staff for their outstanding work,” he wrote. To carry out my #1 goal of complete privacy, no wedding planners or outside resources were hired. Everything you see was created by hand, by staff and family only. The end results were spectacular and @laurenhashianofficial and I will forever be grateful for helping our hearts sing on this day.”

Lauren also posted a sweet, behind-the-scenes pic of the entire family at the ceremony and shared she was on cloud nine.

But, wait! There's more. To celebrate her and Dwayne's first wedding anniversary, Lauren publicly released a song titled “Step Into a Love Like This,” which she initially presented to her husband privately on the day she walked down the aisle. “'Step into a Love Like This' is the most personal and rewarding song I've ever written,” the singer said in a press release at the time (per People). “Personal because every word is from my heart and rewarding because I had the honor of surprising the man I now call my husband with this song on the day we were married in Hawaii in front of our family, friends, and two beautiful daughters, Jazzy and Tia.”

Lauren Is Kiiiind of a Private Person

Which is definitely a breath of fresh air for her given that her husband is constantly in the spotlight! Lauren herself revealed to Vydia in 2017 that she prefers “keeping a low-key profile and holding onto privacy and normalcy.” She explained, “Especially for Jasmine, I don’t want to lose that. Since my man spends much of his life in front of a camera, I’m a little more reserved with stepping out and being 'out there' as much. It just gives us balance, and makes you appreciate privacy and a 'normal' life even more.”
