Caring, generous, and up-for-anything, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is the ultimate girl dad. He’s a rock-solid presence in the lives of his daughters Jasmine, 8, and Tiana Gia, 5, who he shares with wife Lauren Hashian, and Ava Raine, 22, who he shares with ex Dany Garcia. But outside of his home life, he brings that same kindness to others — including one 2-year-old girl who had a special wish for The Rock.

“Join me in a song 🎶 ❤️🎶,” the Black Adam star wrote on Instagram this week, tagging the Make a Wish Foundation. In the caption, Johnson shared how he made a wish come true for a toddler named Naomi who is experiencing a brain disorder.

“Naomi is 2yrs old and fighting the fight in the hospital with a brain disorder,” the Moana star continued in his caption. “Her wish is for Maui to send her a video of him singing ‘You’re Welcome’ 🩵🎶❤️.” BRB, have to go bawl my eyes out. I can’t imagine how scary it is for that little girl and her parents to deal with a serious diagnosis like a brain disorder. Johnson is doing his best to bring a little light to her family, and it’s so beautiful.

The WWE wrestler continued, “As we know, there’s a lot of noise and negativity out there, but I deeply believe that positive energy, light and mana can make a real difference in people’s lives – especially when it comes to our children who are struggling.”

“Naomi I hope you smile with this song and Uncle Maui will sing ‘You’re Welcome’ anytime you need it,” Johnson added. “Thank you everyone watching this for sending your mana and positive light.”

In the video, Johnson shares that Naomi has been in the hospital since mid-January and is “a fighter.” “Her favorite movie is Moana,” he continued. “And her favorite song is ‘You’re Welcome.’” Johnson then read from the Make a Wish letter about Naomi, explaining that her “eyesight is very limited due to her brain disorder, however, her sense to hear has been enhanced.”

“She absolutely loves music and this song, ‘You’re Welcome’ in particular, is very special. And she reacts positively every time she hears his voice,” Johnson continued reading the letter.

“Naomi, I know you can hear me right now. This is Maui… and I’m going to sing you a very special song, I’m going to sing your song, ‘You’re Welcome,’” Johnson says in the video. “Naomi, honey, this is for you,” he adds before playing the song and singing along to it.

At the end, Johnson said, “Naomi, I hope you enjoyed your song, honey.” He added, “I hope you are smiling big and anytime you want Maui to sing to you, you just let me know and I will always come and sing your favorite song.”

“Great job singing off the cuff like that for this little girl. Wishing her and her family all the best,” one person commented. Someone else wrote, “What a King 👑… praying for Naomi 🙏🏽”

Naomi has an Instagram account, and the people who manage it commented, “Thank you @therock for my video. Hope to get a live serenade soon absolutely🥰😍 ❤️.”

She also posted her own video. “@therock thank you for my song. 🥰” the video on Naomi’s Instagram was captioned. She is in a crib in the hospital with an iPad that is playing the video The Rock just posted. She looks awestruck by the video, moving her arms as Johnson sings to her. These two videos have turned us into mush because they are just so sweet.

Earlier this month, the Young Rock star appeared on The Drew Barrymore Show, where he said being a girl dad is “the greatest thing ever.”

“I feel like, I had a real complicated relationship with my dad. So I came in hard-wired into the world, complicated relationship with my dad, led me to the best of his capacity, which was limited and I understand that,” he continued, per PEOPLE. “But my mom was such a strong influence and I had all these women who raised me who were strong women.”

He added, “And of course, years later, the universe, God, whatever that higher power is: 1 daughter, 2 daughters, 3 daughters. And it wound up being the greatest thing.”
