Dunkin Donuts Is Offering a Sweet Giveaway for National Cold Brew Day

Dunkin Donuts is celebrating National Cold Brew Day by giving away free cold brew coffee.

Dunkin Rewards members can claim a free cold brew with any purchase through the Dunkin app on Saturday, April 20. That’s National Cold Brew Day, but it’s also one of America’s other favorite unofficial holidays (wink), which makes the giveaway extra sweet.

Adding even more incentive to claim your free coffee, Dunkin is also providing flavor shots, swirls, and cold foam absolutely free of charge with gratis cold brews.

If you’re not yet a member of Dunkin Rewards, you can sign up here before National Cold Brew Day rolls around on Saturday. All it takes to register is providing your name, phone number, email, birthday, and zip code. As an added perk, after signing up, you’ll receive a free medium drink with any Dunkin purchase.

Dunkin has been working hard of late to woo customers away from Krispy Kreme, one of its top competitors. In recent years, Krispy Kreme has opened a multitude of new stores and struck a lucrative partnership deal with McDonald’s as the chain attempts to unseat Dunkin as America’s top provider of coffee and donuts.

Dunkin also launched a starry new advertising campaign which seemingly included every celebrity born near Boston except for Mark Wahlberg. Brand ambassador Ben Affleck was joined in a Super Bowl spot by his fellow “DunKings” Tom Brady and Matt Damon.

If National Cold Brew Day proves a boon for business, Dunkin may be one step closer to winning the donut wars.
