Gone are the days when Post Consumer Brands’ Fruity Pebbles was just a cereal. Now you can incorporate the breakfast food into dessert, because Duncan Hines has teamed up with the brand to create the Fruity Pebbles EPIC Cake Kit. Yabba Dabba Doo!

This new cake mix is coming in honor of Fruity Pebbles’ 50th birthday, which is in 2021. Each box includes confetti cake mix, frosting, and cereal pieces. So follow the directions to combine the cake mix and cereal, and once baked, you already have the frosting ready to go. Seriously, we’re not seeing any downsides here.

The Fruity Pebbles kit isn’t the only one headed to shelves. There are five total EPIC Baking Kits with two brownie ones, Salted Caramel Brownie Kit and S’mores Brownie Kit and two cookie ones, Cookies & Cream Cookie Kit and Cookie Dough Cookie Kit. They were inspired by trendy bakeries and social media baking influencers, so you’ll notice how fun, colorful, and over-the-top they are.

Each of the kits cost $5.49 and will be hitting shelves in early March 2021, a Duncan Hines PR rep confirmed to Best Products. They will first be available at Walmart, and then roll out to retailers and grocers nationwide. It may be Fruity Pebbles’ birthday, but we’re going to pretend it’s ours when we pop this baby in the oven!
