Duchess Kate visits children's hospital in festive green dress alongside Prince William

On Tuesday morning, Kensington Palace announced that the Duchess of Cambridge had become a patron of Evelina London Children's Hospital just ahead of Prince William and Duchess Kate's visit to "learn more about how the hospital supports children and their families, and the specialist services provided to children with rare and complex conditions."

For the sweet occasion, Kate donned a festive forest green silk dress with white polka dots from L.K. Bennett that currently retails for $645. She completed her look with an olive colored envelope clutch, nude Gianvito Rossi heels and one of her classic bouncy blowouts. Prince William joined her wearing a navy blue suit with a light blue dress shirt, sans necktie.

During the visit, the duke and duchess played with children, engaged in arts and crafts and chatted with the families whose children are receiving treatment at the facility.

Kensington Palace shared a statement from the duchess about her excitement for her new patronage with Evelina London in a tweet: "It’s a real privilege to be part of this organisation, and I look forward to many happy years ahead."
