Duchess Kate suffers minor wardrobe mishap in royal blue Goat coat

Oops! Duchess Kate suffered a wardrobe mishap on Wednesday when she got her heel stuck in a metal drain grate (you can check out the photos here) on her way to open a new addiction treatment center, Action on Addiction, of which she is a patron.

But this isn't the first time that Kate has experienced a high heel slip -- during a 2013 St. Patrick's Day parade, the royal also had trouble with her footwear. But like the pro that she is, she kept her cool and immediately pulled her heel out of the metal grate.

The 36-year-old royal, who is seven months pregnant, donned a striking blue Goat wool coat that she paired with a pair of velvet pumps, tights and a small box clutch. She sported her signature blowout while keeping her makeup simple with some blush, mascara and a nude lip.

During her visit to the center, she will learn more about the charity's community-based recovery program, Clouds in the Community, and hear from its trustees, supporters and patients who have benefited from the initiative. The new center first opened in October 2017.

Kate's outing comes after a whirlwind four-day tour of Norway and Sweden. The mother to Prince George and Princess Charlotte stepped out in a number of bold looks during the royal tour, including this saffron yellow Erdem gown. But it was her blush Alexander McQueen gown she wore to a gala days later that may be one of her best looks yet.

Coincidentally, future sister-in-law Meghan Markle also donned a daring McQueen look that very same night.
