Netflix truly knows how to suck in viewers, because they just dropped yet another reality show about the lives of the rich. I mean, how can you not be invested in that?

Dubai Bling, which premiered on Oct. 27, is just what it sounds like: a show revolving around a group of socialites living in Dubai, complete with glam and drama.

One member of the Dubai Bling crew is Farhana Bodi. She’s sparked curiosity because her professional career is talked about several times in the show, leaving many to wonder how she made her money. Well, she started working at 19, has founded her own company, and creates content for her over a million followers. On top of that, she’s found a way to prioritize her physical and mental health.

Here’s everything to know about Farhana, including her age, ex-husband, net worth, and previous experience in reality television.

Farhana got her start in the fashion industry.

She began work at the age of 19 as a makeup artist and model, per The Cinemaholic. She also used social media to her advantage, keeping her (now 1.7 million) followers posted on each and every move.

And it’s paid off. She’s walked on the Cannes Red Carpet and walked in London Fashion Week, opening for Atelier Zuhra, per Vogue Arabia.

“I love dressing up and it’s not anyone else but for myself,” she told Gulf News. “Since I was a baby, I was so passionate about fashion, beauty, lifestyle…I used to doll up every single day…If there was any modeling contest or fashion show in school, I would be the first one to enroll.”

She’s been on reality television before.

And on season one of Paris Hilton’s Dubai BFF on MTV, nonetheless! The series was about Paris finding a new best friend in Dubai, which Farhana competed in, appearing in the first five episodes before being eliminated, per Mille World.

She’s a company founder.

In addition to being a content creator and social media influencer, the 36-year-old is the founder of I Am Woman Of The World, a company connecting brands and clients through lifestyle events aiming to empower woman, per the Instagram bio. (It has almost 60K followers, BTW!)

Dubai was “love at first sight” for Farhana.

She’s lived in Dubai for the last 15 years.

“I basically saw Dubai as a land of opportunity,” she told Fact Magazines about her first visit. “I love the luxurious lifestyle that Dubai offers.”

She doesn’t consider herself a “party animal.”

She’s much more into her health, tbh.

“I love taking care of my skin, my health and I stay away from anything that can damage my skin or health,” she told Gulf News. “I have never done any surgery on my face or my body,” she said. “I don’t do any fillers and I take care of myself the moment I wake up.”

So, she makes sure she’s on top of her habits. “I love going to parties but I do not drink alcohol and I am not into smoking much,” she added. In fact, she starts every day with a shot of ginger juice.

Farhana prioritizes self-care.

She starts every day with a glass of green juice, followed by a glass of water with overnight-soaked chia seeds, she told she told Gulf News. Then, it's off to a workout: “I do my Pilates and then work out at the gym during the first half of my day." She also loves to meditate, so it’s safe to say she’s into wellness.

She’s recently divorced.

Her ex-husband is Heroies Havewalla, product developer of Goldpesa, a cryptocurrency, per Lifestyle Asia. She lives with her six-year-old son, Aiden, in Dubai now.

“Being a mother is a blessing and a feeling I’m sure most women want to experience,” she told Vogue Arabia. “I wake up every day to pictures of my son when he was one year old and it brings me immense joy, confidence and a warm feeling that as a woman, I have accomplished so much. Giving birth to this bundle of joy has literally changed my life.”

She also has a couple of pets: an African Grey parrot, Osama, and Kiara, a husky, per Vogue Arabia.

She speaks four languages, NBD.

She was born in India to a Muslim family and was raised in South Africa, per Mille World. Along the way, she learned Hindi, Gujarati, English, and Arabic, the outlet says.

Her net worth is pretty high.

What isn’t known is the exact number, but what is known: she’s got money coming in every which way. Because she has over a million IG followers, it’s estimated that she makes around $10,000 per post, making her yearly income from social media and brand partnerships a solid $300,000, estimates The Cinemaholic. From modeling, the outlet guesses she makes $50,000 just from gigs, and from her own company, they estimate it brings in at least $50,000 each year.

Overall, she could be worth $2.5 million. Other outlets, however, believe her net worth is closer to $1.5 million.
