On and off of her Future Nostalgia tour, we've seen Dua pull out plenty of 'fits that could easily transition into a Halloween costume. A Y2K cowgirl look? Check! Sheer opera gloves that *scream* "mystical enchantress"? You know it. And how about an ensemble that easily passes as a look straight from the posters of a '90s boyband heartthrob? Ofc. As proven by her wins cosplaying as an alligator, Indiana Jones, and a boxer, Dua can dua no wrong when it comes to providing us with serious Halloweekend wardrobe inspo. Let us present to you Lipa's latest edition of functional costume wear — a fashionable take on the Indy 500.
The "Potion" songstress got into the spirit of spooky season on October 27 while visiting Japan, posting up on the 'gram in a Halloween costume option that you'll be able to wear past Trick-Or-Treat time. Motocross has been a HUGE trend this year thanks to the likes of Hailey Bieber and Kylie Jenner. Now, Dua has joined the fold, opting to rock a two-piece Givenchy racing suit. The NASCAR-inspired set features branded stitching and a mix of patches that show off the American flag and the Eiffel Tower. Strategic black, cherry red, and white stripe paneling create a structured feel to the leather jacket and pants while adding pops of color.
The ready-to-wear menswear look was first seen on rapper Tyga at the haute couture house's Spring 2023 show in June. Unlike on the runway where the racecar driver duds were paired with a black tee, Dua wore a sheer, distressed black bodysuit underneath the jacket. In one photo, when Dua pulls back the side of her jacket, we can see circular cutouts that matched the hole detailing on the bodice. The singer went glam with her accessories, choosing a chunky gold chain necklace with a padlock, hoop earrings, and a diamond pinky ring.
