Dua Lipa's "Barbie" Premiere Dress is Practically See-Through

You can always count on Dua Lipa to push fashion boundaries, whether she's in her Quiet-Luxury-meets-girlboss pantsuits, sporting items she designed for her collab with Versace, or toting around a teddy bear as a purse. Sometimes she does the most (like the one time she wore a knit Hello Kitty swimsuit on vacation) but other times, Dua ascribes to the philosophy that less (like, a lot less) is more.

The "Levitating" singer who stars as "Mermaid Barbie" in Greta Gerwig's upcoming Barbie movie, attended the perfectly pink premiere in a silver see-through naked dress made of metallic mesh. Dua chose to free the nip in the braless Bottega Veneta chainmail look, opting to wear a white thong underneath the sparkly mermaid gown that featured a square neckline and thick straps.

Dua finished off her look with a pair of pointed-toe metallic heels that looked like they were made of molten silver.

Dua Lipa was blinged out to the max in Tiffany & Co. jewelry, wearing the Victoria® Graduated Line Necklace (a tennis necklace style that's super trendy rn) and HardWear Link Earrings. She styled her long, dark hair down in a soft wave, and opted for a more natural makeup look that's perfect for a Barbie that spends most of her time in the water.

We don't know much about her character in the upcoming film with Margot Robbie, but in addition to acting in the movie, Dua collaborated with Mark Ronson on a song for the film's soundtrack.
