Dua Lipa Wore a Silver Balenciaga Gown for Elton John's Oscar Party

Dua Lipa always brings the drama.

Last night, the pop star not only attended the 29th annual Elton John AIDS Foundation Oscar party—which was scaled down this year due to COVID-19—but also served as the musical guest alongside John himself.

For her performances, Lipa wore two standout gowns courtesy of Balenciaga: one, a silver long-sleeved, shimmery fringe number; the other, a black form-fitting velvet maxi with a voluminous hem. She accessorized with white pointed-toe pumps and glittery chandelier earrings from Swiss luxury brand Chopard.

The "Levitating" singer took to Instagram today to recap the evening and express her gratitude to John for hosting the evening and joining her for a duet of her song "Love Again" from her 2020 Grammy-winning album, Future Nostalgia. John even coordinated with Lipa onstage, bringing out his best metallic purple blazer for the performance.

"Dearest Elton, thank you for having me perform alongside you last night," wrote Lipa. "A real honour and a dream to have done this with you for such an incredible cause. Still smiling from ear to ear and I will never ever forget this moment - especially getting to sing Bennie And The Jets and Love Again with you. I love you!!!!"

In an additional post, the singer acknowledged the amazing charitable feat the event accomplished and shared more photos from the night.

"Last night @ejaf raised $3 MILLION to fight HIV/AIDS❣️thank you to everyone for tuning in!" said Lipa. "Thank you @eltonjohn & @davidfurnish for having me!!!!"
