Dua Lipa wears plunging, backless jellyfish dress
As you may well have noticed, Dua Lipa's style has been on fire recently. Taking a much-deserved break from a busy touring schedule, she's been enjoying the last of the summer wine and making us all jealous as she lives it up on holiday while the rest of us start looking ahead to autumn and those long, cold nights.
Need a refresher of some of her best looks so far this season? Luckily, they're all burned forever into our style-obsessed brains. There has been an absolutely minuscule crystal micro bra she wore for her birthday celebrations, a Liz Hurley-worthy paperclip dress, a whole host of hot af swimwear and a literal see-through, white wedding dress (kinda!) for designer Simon Porte Jacquemus's nuptials in France. J'adore!
Currently, reports are saying that Dua Lipa is in holiday in Ibiza for a friend's wedding (although we have no official confirmation on that from Dua herself, so let's take that with a pinch of salt) and she's debuted another killer look that happens to reference one of this season's unlikeliest beauty and fashion inspirations.
Specifically, she's posted a new carousel of 'fit pics to her 86.2 million followers and looks absolutely fire. To the tune of over 760,000 likes, the 26-year-old musician stunned in a floaty fuchsia mid dress with plunging neckline and scooped back, paired with a set of sky-high metallic platform sandals with sculpted heel. The shoes are by high glam, cult footwear brand D'Accori and the dress is by Fanci Club, a label beloved by the likes of Doja Cat.
Our fave thing about this dress? Its tendril-like embellishments and fishtail hem which, paired with the gauzy fabric it is made from, kind of gives us (wait for it) jellyfish vibes. Yep, we're getting full-on medusa energy here - hot on the heels of Nicole Kidman's layered bob hairstyle which has gone viral on TikTok as the "jellyfish haircut".
Who knows, maybe jellyfish are set to be the biggest A/W 22 inspo yet?
