Dua Lipa is the ultimate Barbie girl in pink diamanté bikini and platform heels

With the release of Greta Gerwig's much-anticipated Barbie film inching ever closer (the countdown to July 21st is ON, people!), Barbie fever has well and truly taken over the fashion world – and we are loving every single second.

Seriously, though: you name a celeb, and we can pretty much guarantee that we've seen them out in a hot pink 'fit lately. Eva Longoria? Check. Paris Hilton? Well, obvs. Ashley Graham? Wore a pink bikini just the other day. Gabrielle Union? Yup. Priyanka Chopra, Florence Pugh, Zendaya... The list goes on.

Even the one and only Kate Middleton couldn't resist trying the #Barbiecore trend on for size. The royal wore not one but TWO pink dresses to attend a wedding in Jordan earlier this month, and just a few days before that she stepped out in a Barbie pink suit too. We told you it was becoming an obsession!

Well, if you needed any more proof that the trend isn't going anywhere, then Dua Lipa's latest lewk might just be it. And let us tell you: it's a corker...

Is this what Barbie fashion dreams are made of? We certainly think so. Dua Lipa is absolutely SLAYING in her latest Insta post, posing in an all-pink 'fit (with a matching convertible car to boot!) that would have Elle Woods shaking with jealousy.

The singer can be seen rocking an absolutely *epic* sparkly, diamanté-covered (and suitably teeny) baby pink Versace bikini – that also features a verrrrrry Y2K-esque gold belly chain and straps – with a matching bedazzled handbag and mega platform shoes. Ever the fashion superstar, Dua's look is the perfect mix of two of the hottest trends of the moment, ticking off the Barbiecore and Noughties aesthetics in one fell swoop. And naturally, we're obsessed.
