ICYMI, Dua has been really leaning into the trends of the noughties as of late, fusing the '80s and '00s together in a tiered dress, hitting up the '90s for a taste of punk streetwear, and resurrecting the Y2K "whale tail", g-string underwear style from its untimely grave. And who could forget the time she brought back the ~controversial~ millennial side part? We'll be the first to admit that we've been begging Dua to give us more style content this week after she skipped the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards on August 28, leaving us longing to see a red carpet look. And wow — has she delivered — starting with her recent green butterfly get-up and now, this girly and glam bikini.
Blink and you'll miss it — Dua didn't post this poolside hottie uniform on her main 'grid. Instagram stories saw it first, with Lipa launching her 'kini on the expiring pic and video feature. Throwing a kissy face at the camera for the snap, Dua is seen sporting a bright orchid-hued triangle bikini top with a cheeky thong-style bottom hanging out of her bedazzled heather gray and pink skirt.
Dua secured the style in classic halter fashion, around her back and neck. The bottoms were tied neatly in a bow high on her hips, touching two strands of rainbow waist beads and a silver crystal navel piercing. For accessories, the "Levitating" singer piled on a couple of silver rings and a set of twisted hoop earrings. Going au natural, Dua kept her face makeup-free and wore her dark brown hair down past her shoulders.
We didn't need further confirmation that Dua is *the moment*, but she still decided to give us proof. Taking a break from soaking up the rays, the songstress got atop a white towel to showcase her impressive yoga moves.
