Dua Lipa and Jack Harlow Are Reportedly "Excited to See Where Things Go Next"

Remember when Jack Harlow said, “Dua Lipa, I'm tryna do more with her than do a feature?" in his most recent album Come Home the Kids Miss You? Turns out, he really meant it.

According to Page Six, Jack and Dua are dating after they met in person for the first time at the Variety Hitmakers Brunch in November, where she became "quite smitten." Per the source, the two have been in “constant communication” since they meet, and Jack is “very interested in her," is "going to strongly pursue" the romance, and "is going to do his best, as he has always been a fan of her.”

Jack reportedly flew to New York City to meet up with Dua again after her appearance at Jingle Ball on December 17. The source claims that the couple had lunch at a restaurant in the Meatpacking District the very next day, arriving and leaving the eatery separately to avoid being seen.

An anonymous source told Us Weekly that the music stars "like each other and are both excited to see where things go next" in December 2022. They added that Jack and Dua kept in touch after crossing paths at the Variety Hitmakers event because they "liked each other's vibe." The insider also noted that Jack and Dua had previously met through a FaceTime call that was "awkward... for everyone" when the 24-year-old rapper asked her permission to release his track, "Dua Lipa."

In an interview with The Breakfast Club on May 6, Harlow told the story of how he asked Dua if he could use her name as the title to his song, saying she was "thrown off."

"I wanted to get her blessing, so I FaceTimed her and played it for her because I didn’t want her to be blindsided by that or feel like creeped out or anything. If she had said, 'Yo, I hate it. I don’t want it to come out,' it wouldn’t have come out," he said. "She was like, 'Oh, I mean it’s not my song. I suppose it’s OK.' She was just kinda thrown off and she just kinda let it go."

ICYMI, Dua last sparked dating rumors with Trevor Noah after The Daily Mail published photos of them "kissing and hugging on a cozy night out" in NYC, where they met up for dinner at Miss Lily's in East Village. Jack was rumored to have been coupling up with TikTok queen Addison Rae in 2021 after they were spotted together at a boxing match, according to Entertainment Tonight. After Addison's ex-BF Bryce Hall seemingly got upset at the possible pairing, Addison clarified that she was still single in April of 2021 through a tweet.
