Dua Lipa Gives Puma’s Newest Sneaker a Edgy Remix in the Sleekest Latex Bodysuit

For her latest campaign shoot with Puma, Dua Lipa did not hold back.

The “New Rules” musician posed for the German athletic brand today, showing off her bold attire to match her new sneakers. The outfit layer a bustier-style latex bodysuit over sheer black stockings with chunky metallic jewelry for an added punch.

On her feet, the brand ambassador then broke out the label’s newest sneaker silhouette: the Suede Mayu. Set with suede uppers, the chunky low-top shoe reimagines the classic Puma Suede design by playing with exaggerated proportions. Releasing today at Puma.com and at its New York flagship, the Suede Mayu sneaker comes in two new colorways with a retail price of $90.

The Suede Mayu is also part of Puma’s “She Moves Us” platform, “highlighting some of its top female brand ambassadors to celebrate the women who have moved culture and sports forward and to inspire other women around the world,” according to the athletic label.

Last week, Dua Lipa herself gave the little black dress an athleisure-chic touch this week as she helped debut Puma’s newest sneaker.

The brand ambassador took to Instagram to show off her new Puma Mayze kicks in bold fashion. Her ensemble featured a 1980s-style workout jacket layered over a classic little black dress with a fitness-inspired finish, available for $45 at Puma.com.

The finishing touch of the outfit came in the form of platform sneakers from the German brand. Titled the Mayze silhouette, the two-tone design highlights all white uppers with black accents along the sides and midsole. The new design dropped last week with a retail price of $90 on Puma’s website.

It’s no surprise that the brand tapped Dua Lipa to debut the new sneaker silhouettes, either. Beyond an award-winning music career, Dua Lipa herself dips her toes in the fashion world quite often. From sitting from rows at major shows during Fashion Month to selecting daring duds for red carpet appearances, she keeps things regularly exciting. The “Levitating” musician previously appeared in campaigns for YSL Beauté and Fragrance, Adidas and Pepe Jeans amongst others.

Her ensembles and style are credited to celebrity stylist Lorenzo Posocco; Dua Lipa is Posocco’s main clientele but he has also worked with Troye Sivan and Alex Demie in the past.
