Dua Lipa Flaunts Her Blonde Hair and Bangs While Social Distancing

Just because you’re socially distancing, that doesn’t mean you can’t show off your lewks on social — and Dua Lipa knows this well.

In a video posted to both her Instagram and Twitter on March 19, the "New Rules" singer proudly showed off her new-ish bang-heavy hairdo. In the video, Dua shows off a new variation of her famed two-toned hairdo, this time leaning more heavily on blonde rather than just leaving the light color in slight streaks.

It also looks like her messy bangs, which the singer debuted in a shorter form back in February, and it looks like they are here to stay. “The new normal,” Dua wrote in the caption, spending the video’s brief length turning back and forth for the camera. Whether the caption is referring to her new haircut or the recent nationwide request that people stay in their homes in light of the coronavirus outbreak is an open question, but no matter the reason for the post, we’re here for her ‘do.

Dua gave us a better view of her new hair in a follow-up post on March 20. In the new post, she can be seen blowing bubbles as she sits in a bathtub. “How to pass time 101,” she writes in the caption. A self-care queen, to be sure.

While both of these glimpses at Dua’s new look are pretty limited, we know that the singer’s original decision to chop her locks into bangs was, as Bob Ross would say, a “happy little accident.” “PSA: This is not a haircut,” Dua detailed in an Instagram story following the debut of her bangs. “It’s bleached breakage, but I’m runnin’ with it.”

Now it seems that the singer has committed to the look, maintaining both her trendsetting two-tone haircut and a pair of absolutely killer bangs. Even while staying home, Dua is keeping the '90s vibes alive, and we can’t get enough of it.
