Dua Lipa Debuted a Very Dramatic Hair Change and We Low-Key Love It

Dua Lipa is doing something different in 2021. The "Levitating" artist debuted a brand new blonde bob on Instagram on January 8th, and we barely recognized her.

"New year same me soz," Lipa captioned the pic of her warm-toned 'do with matching, long curtain bangs.

It's unclear if the blonde bob is the real deal (those shadow bangs point to perhaps!) or just a wig donned for a photoshoot. But either way, this is a cut and color we can definitely get on board with.

Beauty guru James Charles commented, "omg this hair is so beautiful on you," and nail artist of the stars Michelle Humphrey wrote "Obsessed" with the heart-eyes emoji. She looks like Michelle Pfeiffer in Scarface, and that's always a good look.

Though she's no stranger to the wig game, Lipa has favored her naturally dark hair over other styles. She did the (partially) blonde (long) bob in fall 2019 when she bleached the top portion of her hair—think iconic money piece on steroids. This look carried over into spring 2020, with some fun edits.

The partially bleached blonde hair remained through the summer until Lipa dyed the bleached section pink and then a coral red because, as she wrote, "The brighter the hair the closer to god."

So, it definitely wouldn't be a shock if Lipa decided to bring the blonde back in full force and in bang form. She's definitely dabbled in virtually every hair color at this point. Some how, some way, she can pull off any hair color, and if we had that superpower, we'd be changing up our cut and color all the time, too.
