Dua Lipa is no stranger to epic Y2K-inspired looks, so it comes at no surprise that she recently rocked an early aughts-esque, strapless denim maxi dress. With her latest stylish Instagram post, the “Levitating” singer, 27, made us think of Britney Spears‘ iconic 2001 American Music Awards look, as the “Oops!…I Did It Again” hitmaker, 40, famously wore a similar piece while matching in denim with then-boyfriend Justin Timberlake on the red carpet. The “Don’t Start Now” singer uploaded photos of herself to IG on November 16th in the denim dress from Blumarine’s Spring/ Summer 2023 collection while also giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at her Future Nostalgia tour. Lipa posed in the strapless, curve-hugging item in 9 different pics for her 87.4 million followers, showing off the dress in various angles.

The denim piece featured a sultry, low-cut neckline with skimpy straps, a tight, waist-defining fit that helped flaunt her curves, and a glamorous long train. Lipa’s bustier gown was complete with shiny stud details that helped outline her décolletage and toned figure. She added a belt around her tiny waist with a ‘B’ embellishment, representing the Italian luxury label. (Could ‘B’ also stand for Britney?)

To amp up her look even more, the Grammy winner added a shimmering choker necklace with an eye-catching cross pendant and silver hoop earrings. As for her makeup look, Lipa went for a classic black winged liner cat-eye with glittery bejeweled stickers placed across her eyelid as well as voluminous mascara.
