Denim was a big deal in the early 2000s (think Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake’s matching outfits) so naturally, our favorite Y2K-loving celebs have been playing around with some fun denim styles. Hailey Bieber recently stepped out in casual low-rise jeans and Bella Hadid styled a denim corset, while Megan Fox wore a denim dress that had major Britney energy. And now, the one and only Dua Lipa is joining in on the early aughts-inspired denim fun with her most recent outfit.
The "Don't Stop Now" singer dropped her latest lewk from Adelaide, Australia, where she's currently performing for the last leg of her Future Nostalgia tour. The singer posed in a gray-blue 'fit with splashes of bright cherry red, achieving the perfect balance of casual (see: henley top, funky denim skirt) and Fashion™️ (see: red stiletto boots and matching red lipstick).
Dua Lipa's top and bottoms are both from Diesel, a Y2K denim staple brand. She wore a gray-blue ribbed henley top with a wide, off-the-shoulder neckline with straps of a matching bralette peeking out. The same color palette continued into her tiny denim skirt, a belt-like strip of fabric slung across her hips and secured on her left side with a large metal clasp. The faded micromini skirt features a strip of denim dangling off the side for an asymmetrical look, with frayed, distressed edges and a low-rise fit.
Dua accessorized with eye-catching pops of red, incorporating the bold shade with a pair of knee-high stiletto boots and a matte crimson lipstick as well as a chunky red statement ring on her pointer finger. Dua might be British by nationality, but the blue-and-red color scheme is serving ~Miss Americana~ in the best way possible.

Boasting "dua" in baby blue thread, Dua's whale tail is a classic 2000s look that perfectly matches her denim miniskirt.
