Dua Lipa Is Bringing Preppy Back in a Gucci Sweater Vest and Pinstripe Blazer

If you want to find new ways to infuse the preppy aesthetic into your wardrobe, look no further than Dua Lipa's latest Instagram photo dump.

The "Don't Start Now" singer shared photos of herself from a recent trip to Barcelona. During a wine-tasting tour, Lipa dressed up in a preppy ensemble composed of this season's trendiest pieces.

She layered a navy blue Gucci sweater vest emblazoned with the house's signature GG motif in a vibrant red jacquard pattern over a white striped collared shirt. She topped it off with a black pinstripe blazer. Accessories included silver chain earrings from Bottega Veneta and a crimson red iteration of Gucci's Jackie 1961 purse.

"Spent a few days in Barcelona and other parts of Cataluña going to my favourite restaurants, making new friends and meeting some of my favourite natural winemakers," Lipa wrote in the caption. "A real pleasure to get to know the wonderful people and the process behind the wine that I love to enjoy and share with people that I love. The Grammy winner has previously embodied the contemporary preppy look by wearing multiple outfits centered around a standout blazer.

For instance, last month she shared photos of an outfit she wore while traveling the Netherlands, where she wore a classic tweed blazer in a pastel yellow hue paired with high-waisted distressed jeans. She finished the look with denim kitten heels, spiked gold hoops, and a yellow shoulder bag.

And while attending an event in Los Angeles this past December, Lipa looked cool and casual in a slouchy gray pinstripe suit. She added a risqué element to the look by wearing the baggy blazer with nothing underneath.
