Dua Lipa and Anwar Hadid have reportedly split, calling time on their relationship after two years. Apparently, the couple have not been able to keep the spark alive, despite engaging in ‘crisis talks’ and even taking a break.

An insider has since confirmed the split to celebrity gossip site Deux Moi, and The Sun has claimed the pair have not been seen together in almost eight weeks due to their clashing work schedules. This appears to make sense - Dua hasn’t posted a photo of them together for three months, while Anwar’s last picture of the two together was on the 1st of November.

A source said, "The couple floated the idea about putting the brakes on their romance last month as travelling so much and being apart is proving tough. Their relationship is going through a crisis and appears to be on the rocks."

The split may come as a shock to fans, (us included) as during lockdown last year, the couple seemed to be thriving and happy as they isolated on Anwar’s family farm in Pennsylvania. Like the rest of the world, we were living for their cute couple pics, with Dua telling British Vogue that she tries to balance 'being so excited and in love.'

The pair started dating back in 2019. In Dua’s one-year anniversary post to Anwar back in 2020, she captioned her Instagram post: ‘nothing sweeter than 365 days joint at the hip with you ❤️’

Say it ain't so!
