If there's one thing Love is Blind fans can't stop talking about, it isn't why Shaina decided to leave Mexico early (sorry, Kyle) or which of the couples are still together (#DeepsandShake forever). Instead, it's...drumroll please...those metallic wine glasses that kept popping up in every. single. scene.

Everything that went down in Love is Blind was anything but typical, so it kinda makes sense that the couples' stemware deviated from classic clear wine glasses to those gold chalices used in nearly every scene—from those dates in the pods to deep conversations over kitchen islands in the couples' new apartments.

It seems like wine (or some sort of libation) made an appearance in every scene, but Chris Coelen, one of the show's creators, told OprahMag.com that despite the Love Is Blind contestants' many imbibing sessions, no one was ever pressured to drink. "We wanted them to make the decisions and them to control their destiny. It wasn't like, 'Hey, guys! Cocktail party time.' Whatever you wanna do, do it," Coelen explained to the publication.

The wine glasses have caught the attention of many a Love is Blind viewer on Twitter, and some have pretty strong opinions on the glassware choice. "Can someone please tell me what is up with all of the gold wine glasses EVERYWHERE on #LoveIsBlind??" one fan asked.

Meanwhile, another fan is still looking for some answers: "Do they just carry these wine glasses around with them wherever they go? Do they have a special bag to transport them in? Why is it always the same cup? #LoveIsBlind."

So why use them in the first place? One viewer has a pretty solid theory. "The Love Is Blind opaque metal wine glasses solve an essential reality tv problem: you gotta get everyone drunk but you can’t have anything in the shot that gives away how non-chronologically things are stitched together into a final product," they wrote.

(No continuity errors here!)

While Netflix hasn't released any info about the significance of these wine glasses, one thing's for sure: You can get a set of four for yourself on Amazon for just $42.99. And, if you want to keep the Love Is Blind momentum going, you can break 'em out while sitting behind a wall and pretending you're just getting to know your new soulmate.
