Drew Scott's Son Parker Stinks Up a Sweet Father-Son Moment, Proving That Toddlers Gonna Toddler

One thing parents can’t prepare for before welcoming their little bundle of joy is how much poop is about to be in their lives. Poopy diapers, poopy Pull-Ups, poopy underwear, poop emergencies — it’s, well, the crappiest part of parenthood. Drew Scott recently experienced this during a sweet father-son moment with his baby Parker, 20 months, who he shares with wife Linda Phan, and the ensuing video is hilarious.
“’You are my sunsh … he’s poopin’!!’ 🎸” the Property Brothers co-host captioned the funny video on Instagram Wednesday. It starts off nice, with Scott playing the guitar and singing “You Are My Sunshine” to Parker, who is following along on his toddler-sized guitar.

“You make me happy when skies are gray,” Scott croons while Parker sways to the music and attempts to pluck the strings of his guitar at the same time. “That’s good!” Scott praises at one point, as his son follows along. The moment is absolutely adorable — until Parker decides to stink it all up.
After another chorus of “You are my sunshine, my only sunshine,” Parker turns and walks away, emitting a huge grunting noise.
“You never — oh, he’s pooping,” Scott remarks mid song with a smile. “He’s pooping!” Ah, toddlers! You gotta love ‘em!
Terry Crews commented, “SO CUTE👏👏👏.”
“🤣🤣🤣 pooping and dancing that’s the way to go Parker … multitasking,” one person commented.
Someone else wrote, “🤣🤣🤣Poop happens!! Moving and shaking helped out.”
In a Nov. 2023 appearance on The TODAY Show With Hoda & Jenna, Scott revealed that Parker likes to copy his dad.“ He copies everything. So if I’m like ‘ugh,’ then you just hear a little, ‘ugh.’” So cute!
Scott added that Parker “loves guitar.”

“It’s funny, when he first got his little mini guitar, because he watches me every morning — I try and strum a little for him,” Scott said. “I grab the pick off of the neck and then I strum. He gets his guitar and the first thing he did is reach over like this and then going to go like this,” he demonstrated picking up a pick and playing.
“There’s no pick on his guitar but he does,” his brother Jonathan Scott added.
Parker is too cute! And if he needs to take poop breaks in between dancing and playing guitar, more power to him!
