Property Brothers Drew and Jonathan Scott included their families in a cool Scott family tradition: celebrating Burns Day! The Scottish holiday takes place on Jan. 25, and both brothers shared sweet photos of their respective families enjoying the special day.

Although Drew and Jonathan are from Canada, their dad is originally from Scotland and immigrated to the U.S. as a teenager. They often visit Scotland and celebrate the Scottish part of the heritage, and they recently included their kids and significant others in a party for Burns Day.

For those unaware, Burns Day honors the renowned Scottish poet Robert Burns and the country’s “enduring legacy of creativity.” This holiday has been celebrated since 1801 and usually includes a supper of haggis, neeps, tatties (meat pudding, turnips, and potatoes respectively), and Scotch, a recitation of poetry, and dancing to music played on bagpipes.

Drew Scott & Linda Phan

“Parker’s all kilted up with somewhere Scottish to go!! Burns Day 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿,” Drew captioned a post on Instagram, which included several photos of him, his pregnant wife Linda Phan, and their son Parker, 20 months. Drew is wearing a brown plaid kilt with a brown vest and jacket, and Phan is glowing in a black shirt and floral skirt over her baby bump.

In the second picture, Parker matches his dad in a little brown kilt with a brown sweater. He sits in his dad’s arms to watch a group of Scottish men play bagpipes. Drew also shared a video of Parker walking up to one of the men to see the bagpipes up close, and he looks so adorable!

“OMG, can he be any cuter in that little kilt ❤️❤️❤️,” one person commented. Actor Terry Crews commented, “Dude! I love y’all so much !🔥🔥🔥”

Jonathan Scott & Zooey Deschanel

Jonathan, who is stepdad to fiancé Zooey Deschanel’s kids Elsie, 8, and Charlie, 6, who she shares with ex-husband Jacob Pechenik, shared his own photos of Burns Day. “What a great time celebrating Rabbie Burns Day with the fam 🥰 Swipe to see me playing the bagpipes!” he captioned a post on Instagram.

In the first photo, Scott wears a red plaid kilt with a black jacket and bowtie and long white socks. Deschanel matches him in a red plaid jacket with a black skirt, and both the kids are also wearing red plaid kilts. Charlie wears a black jacket just like his stepdad, and Elsie has a white shirt on and holds a Scottish flag as they pose with the group who played bagpipes. So fun!

At the end, Jonathan shared a video of himself playing bagpipes as the rest of the family sat down to enjoy a meal.

The comments were super supportive, with one person writing, “Omg so this sooo cute.”

In 2017, the Scott brothers talked about their heritage at Roots Tech, per KSL.com. “Our dad started to tell us about castles, and armor and swords. We’re probably the nerdiest guys you will ever meet because we have our own medieval weapons collection and a suit of armor that I tailor-made to fit me,” Jonathan said.

Drew added, “I’ll come home and I’ll hear this clinking metal sound, and Jonathan’s just walking around in his suit of armor by himself.”

“My dad told me that girls like musicians, so I thought, ‘Then I’m learning the bagpipes,’” Jonathan said, joking, “It did not get me a single date.”

At the end of the day though, the brothers love learning about where they came from. In fact, Drew even wore a kilt at his 2018 wedding to Phan in Italy! “We loved learning about our history because we would always try to relive it,” Drew explained. “We would go into the woods and find big logs and have epic sword fight battles.” Sounds amazing!

We love to see these brothers passing on their family history to their kids and celebrating together. It looks like they all had a blast!
