Drew Barrymore opened up about how she feels about her ex's recent engagement.

In a clip from an upcoming episode of the 48-year-old's talk show, The Drew Barrymore Show, the actress revealed that she is rooting for ex-boyfriend Justin Long and his fiancée, Kate Bosworth.

Bosworth sat down for an interview with Barrymore, explaining to the audience that the two "have a very important person in common," referring to the Tusk actor whom Barrymore also dated on and off from 2007 to 2010.

"My very dear old friend Justin Long — a boyfriend, a dear friend — and he and Kate have found each other in this world and become this incredibly joyous, bonded, real deal; you know, holding hands, like the ultimate couple you root for. Period," Barrymore gushed as the Blue Crush actress giggled.

"That's so sweet. He loves you so much. He just loves you so deeply," Bosworth responded.

The two talked about Long's appearance on the season three premiere of Barrymore's talk show in Sept. 2022, where Bosworth shared her reaction to the 50 First Dates star requesting he appear as a guest.

"I was with him when he got the ask, and he's like, 'Oh, Drew wants me to go on her show,' and I was like, 'You have to do it!' I was so excited," Bosworth told Barrymore.

"I was so excited, because I knew there's so much love between the two of you," she added. "So much, yes, fun and like wild— I always say you guys were in the tornado together, right? It's like the time in your life when you're like, 'I want to feel, and I want to do everything,' just like be a part of the adventure in a wild way, which is so much fun. He just loves you so much."

During Long's appearance, the two gushed about their time together and agreed to experiencing a "fun chaos" in their relationship before ultimately breaking up.

Over a decade later, Long, 44, and Bosworth, 40, sparked romance rumors in March 2022 when they were first spotted together in Los Angeles. Shortly after, the duo was photographed strolling the streets of New York City and again while spending time in Hawaii, where they were seen sharing a kiss.

The couple confirmed their engagement last month on the actor's Life is Short podcast, where Bosworth called it "the most romantic and honest and loving proposal."

Long described their relationship as something that "felt so organic" and "connected to something very, very deeply, profoundly personal that we were going through — like, a real-life change — and so it came out in a very organic way."
