A Dreamy Watercolor Inspired Wedding Under the Redwoods
Watercolor details are at the very center of this outdoor wedding in the woods. From a pretty, pastel color palette to painterly stationery and an artist capturing the reception by watercolor, that theme runs through the entire celebration. Spoiler alert...it's insanely romantic. From the Bride...I have always been a fan of pastel colors since I was a little girl. I like the airy and light feeling that naturally comes with pastels. It is also a good reflection of romantic and elegance, this is what I wanted to capture for our big day. The pastel colors and watercolor textures created that romantic and elegant wedding I was looking for with a touch of liveliness as it contrasted with the towering redwood trees. Nestledown has a magical touch that transports you to a different world and as we instantly fell in love with the venue, we wanted to create a garden in the middle of the forests for our wedding. We had put a lot of planning and effort into the floral design working with Li from Lovely Time and Michelle Lywood as they brought my vision to life. My husband had a vision of wanting to create a spectacular scene for our wedding ceremony and reception, and with the help of our dedicated vendors, the experience was purely magical. I could not have asked for more on our wedding as I think our wedding really reflected our love for each other.Surprisingly, I was actually really calm on the day of the wedding. I guess maybe from the deepest of my heart that I know that I was gonna marry my better half, and I really looked forward to our future together as husband and wife. If I had to choose my favorite moment, it would be the first look. I was a little nervous when I walked towards Brian for the first look, but I have never seen and expected Brian to be that emotional. The first dance also felt magical as we danced together as husband and wife.
