The Dreamiest Ruffled Wedding Dress That Will Leave You Blushing
Today we're sharing some pretty from Her Maid of Honor that will without a doubt have you considering Bali for your destination wedding or elopement. The talented team at Bali Signature transformed the geometric design of Alila Villas Uluwatu with hanging pampas grass installations complete with sweet peas, ranunculus and roses (only the absolute dreamiest blooms of course). The modern yet soft tablescape captured by Alice Ahn perfectly complimented the dramatic views of the terrace. Our favorite part, you ask? The dress. From Her Maid of Honor... Bali is popularly known for its beautiful beaches and culture, but what most people are not familiar with is Uluwatu, the Southern Part of the island. Perched on limestone cliffs 100 metres above the Indian Ocean, the view from Alila Villas is nothing less than picture-perfect-aquamarine ocean vistas & glorious golden sunsets.
The architectural design of the venue is very modern with its signature pattern of wood slated pavilion. Our focus for the shoot is to create a design that works with the surrounding without overwhelming it. We picked feather as the basis of the design with a purpose to soften out the wooden geometrical pattern. We started the day with bridal preparation inside the villa followed by a ceremony in sunset cabana.
We kept things modern with the use of ghost chairs so they do not obstruct the amazing view, and added a hanging installation made of pampas grass which has a feather feel to it. With the help of Jeanny from Bali Signature, we transformed the lookout terrace into an intimate dinner setting.
She opted for beautiful flowers, such as lunaria , sweet pea, lagurus, ranunculus, roses, and preserved ferns, all in beautiful pastel shade, combined with a punch of pink in the menu and place card designed by Parler Studio.
