'Dream Home Makeover's' Shea McGee Is Pregnant With Her Third Child
Syd and Shea McGee's family is growing! The McGees, the design masterminds behind the popular firm Studio McGee, announced on Wednesday that they are expecting their third child.
In the adorable family photo posted to Instagram, Shea and Syd are all smiles with their two daughters Wren, 7, and Ivy, 4. "Surprise! Baby McGee #3 is joining our family in July," the caption reads, noting that more details will be released in the latest edition of People magazine, which hits stands on Friday. Shea is pictured rocking a maxi dress while cupping her stomach.
The 35-year-old expecting mama and husband Syd currently star on Netflix's Dream Home Makeover which follows the Utah couple as they run Studio McGee and pull off stunning client renovations, as well as raise their two girls.
Shea and Syd first met in the early 2000s and wed in 2008 at age 23. While neither had a formal education in design, the pair got their start in 2013 after Shea decided to leave her job in communications and remodel their home. She documented the entire process on Instagram and quickly developed a fanbase. The following year, she and Syd launched Studio McGee, which has since expanded into retail with their home goods brand McGee & Co as well as their Threshold x Studio McGee collection at Target.
Dream Home Makeover seasons one and two are currently streaming on Netflix.
