There are endless configuration options—the limit does not exist!

As a girlie who loves ~options~, the modular design of the DS 600 sofa provides flexibility with numerous configurations, making the couch very versatile. I particularly enjoy experimenting with its curved configuration, although it can also be effortlessly arranged in a straight line as well as an S-shape.

The modular design makes it extremely adaptive for future living spaces

For anyone who's ever experienced living in an NYC apartment, you know that the struggle is real. Moving furniture can be daunting—and I've personally made the mistake of buying a sofa for a specific space, only to find it doesn't work in my next apartment. But the DS 600 couch brilliantly addresses this concern. It conveniently comes apart in three pieces, eliminating the need for a sofa doctor (yes, I've heard horror stories of people sawing their sofas in half to get them in and out of their space).

And the modular element of the DS 600 seamlessly makes it adaptable to various spaces, ensuring effortless integration into future living spaces. You can also purchase pieces à la carte and change the configuration of your couch as your needs change. I'm already on apartment number two with the DS 600, and it looks just as stunning and fits just as perfectly as it did in our last apartment.

It's beyond stylish

There is no denying how gorgeous the DS 600 is—it's truly a work of art. This sculptural beauty will instantly elevate the look and feel of any room, becoming the focal point while bringing a sense of style and luxury. I personally love the fabric and color choice I selected, which is stone taupe in vegan leather. I entertained the idea of a velvet for a hot minute but with a husband and puppy, leather was a necessary choice. (Our old couch was velvet and that was a journey to maintain.) It's super easy to clean and nearly impossible to stain. There are numerous color and material options, which is an additional bonus, considering you can custom design according to your preferences.

Cons

It's on the firmer side

If you're in search of a cloud-like couch experience, the DS 600 may not be what you're looking for. It definitely leans towards the firmer side. However that does not personally bother me, it truly depends on what you're looking for in your couch characteristics. Despite that, my husband and I have enjoyed cozy lounging and countless movie nights on it. While it might not be super soft, it still offers a comfortable spot for relaxing evenings and reality TV binging (although my husband would have initially said he prefers something a little softer he falls asleep on it six out of seven nights a week at this point, lol).

If you do happen to be looking for more of a cloud-like option you could always opt for the Mario Bellini Sofa from Eternity Modern, which is equally as chic and modular in design. I can attest to the comfort because I bought the chair!

It's pricey

Not to state the obvious here, but dropping $6,700+ on a couch isn't exactly NBD. I will say though, you get what you're paying for: a high-end piece of art. After over a year, the DS 600 still looks just as new as the first day I got it. No sagging, no fading, no scratches. Plus, if you've been in the market for a designer couch, then you'll know that the DS 600's price tag is in line with others of this caliber. However, if you're on the fence because of the price (but know you just have to have it), Eternity Modern accepts payments via Affirm—allowing you to buy now and pay later with 0% interest.

The Bottom Line

Personally, I would purchase the DS 600 repeatedly. It's fabulous and generous in size and length (making it perfect for social gatherings). And I adore its flexibility and chic design, aka an ideal choice for any stylish living space.
