Before we get into the astrological factors, let’s go over the feud that has captivated Bachelor Nation. In week two, contestant Madina Alam expressed her insecurities about being the oldest contestant. In an attempt to boost Madina’s confidence, Maria Georgas expressed that age wasn’t something to worry about. Sydney Gordon overheard Maria’s comment and relayed it back to Madina. Evidently, Madina became upset since she felt like Maria was being dismissive of Madina’s feelings.
Before Maria and Madine were able to patch things up, Madina confided in the bachelor, Joey Graziadei, that she felt bullied in the house. Although Madina wouldn’t name names, Joey still addressed the bullying with the group before leaving for the evening. To make things right, Maria addressed the elephant in the room. Instead of letting the dust settle, Sydney piped up to let everyone know that she was the one who told Madina. From there on out, Sydney made it her life’s mission to stop the “mean girl” Maria.

In week three, Sydney then adds more fuel to the fire by taking Joey aside at the pool party. Unfortunately, this was just the beginning of Sydney’s blatant lies in her attempt to bash Maria’s character to Joey. Of course, Joey confronted Maria shortly after to get her side of the story. Much to Maria’s and the rest of the cast’s chagrin, the drama continued well into the rose ceremony and even the following week.
Eventually, everything came to a head during the two-on-one date in Malta in week four. Once again, Joey took each woman aside to discuss the drama. Sydney continued her accusations which Maria vehemently denies. By the end of the two-on-one date, Sydney’s kicked off, and Maria wins the coveted rose. But Maria’s relief was brief since Lea Cayman and Jess Edwards decided to take over for Sydney. Luckily, Lea’s and Jess’ reign of terror didn’t last long. As if rewarded by The Bachelor gods, Maria had an amazing one-on-one date in week six, while Lea and Jess were eliminated. Talk about karma!

It might be a little shocking since you might have expected Maria to be a daring fire sign for her boldness, or a zippy air sign with her funny quips. Leo is hailed as a drama queen, which is fitting given that Sydney is gunning for the villain title this season. Sydney’s Leo attributes shine as she constantly seeks to be the center of attention by bashing Maria’s character. Time and time again, Sydney turns fun events, like the pool party, into an unnecessary witch hunt. Her relentlessness to stop the “mean girl” is true to her stubborn Leo energy.
Lea Cayann & Jess Edwards: Pisces
Lea and Jess share the same zodiac sign, which is pretty obvious given how they interact with Maria. Unlike Sydney’s fiery aggressiveness, the two Pisces make quick little jabs before swimming away. Out of the two, Jess boldly confronts Maria during a cocktail party. But Jess quickly backs down when Maria stands up for herself. Joey seems to be unbiased during his interactions as he gathers information to assess what’s going on. Since he’s an air sign, Joey remains cool, calm, and collected. Air signs aren’t typically excitable, so Joey’s disposition is perfect for handling conflict without adding any fuel to the fire.
