He just released his album For All The Dogs and fans are already speculating if Drake’s “Fear of Heights” lyrics are about his famous ex.

For All The Dogs was released on October 6, 2023, and it might be the last recording before Drake’s hiatus. “I probably won’t make music for a little bit. I’m going to be real with you. I need to focus on my health, first and foremost,” he shared to SiriusXM’s Table For One. He said that his health issues are “nothing crazy.” He continued, “I want people to be healthy in life, and I’ve been having the craziest problems for years with my stomach . . . So I need to focus on my health and I need to get right.” Though he’s not going to take a break for too long. “Maybe a year or something, maybe a little longer,” he said about his timeline.

What is “Fear of Heights” by Drake about?

What is “Fear of Heights” by Drake about? The first half of the song is a diss to his ex-lover and many Rihanna fans think that the rapper is directing his hate towards the Fenty Beauty founder.

In the first verse, he raps, “Why they make it sound like I’m still hung up on you? / That could never be
/ Gyal can’t ruin me” Drake has been vocal about his relationships with Rihanna in the past. “Gyal” derives from Creole and is commonly used in the Caribbean to refer to a woman—as Rihanna is from Barbados, it’s one clue that the diss might be directed towards her.

Drake also uses both pronunciations of “Anti” where it similarly sounds like “Auntie.” Anti is also the name of Rihanna’s 2016 album. He also refers to “Sex With Me” with the lyrics, “I’m anti, I’m anti / Yeah, and the sex was average with you / Yeah, I’m anti ’cause I had it with you … / And I had way badder bitches than you, TBH.”

Lots of fans went to criticize the “Hotline Bling” rapper. One person posted on X (formerly known as Twitter). “Drake dissed Rihanna and Asap Rocky and that only means one thing, it still hurts him enough to disgrace himself to the public after 6 years. I didn’t think I’d ever say this but, Drake, you flopped.” Another posted, “Drake dissed Rihanna” my baby she is somewhere changing diapers for the 20th time this morning… that lady does not gaf lmfao.”

Drake and Rihanna were first linked in 2009 and had several eyebrow-raising moments together throughout the years. Rihanna also told Vogue in 2018 that she and Drake weren’t friends anymore. “We don’t have a friendship now, but we’re not enemies either. It is what it is,” she said. A day after Rihanna announced her pregnancy with A$AP in January 2022, Drake unfollowed the “Umbrella” singer. He’s still following A$AP, however. Drake reportedly texted the couple and congratulated them on their new baby the day of the announcement.

Though the door may have closed on a romantic relationship between Rihanna and Certified Lover Boy rapper, Drake is still hopeful that Rihanna’s child with A$AP Rocky will some day have a playdate with his son, Adonis Graham, whom he shares with model Sophie Brussaux. “He would love to get their kids together one day when the time is right. He knows Rihanna is going to make an incredible mother, and he couldn’t be happier for her,” the source added.

[Verse]
Ayy, ayy, look
Why they make it sound like I’m still hung up on you?
That could never be
Gyal can’t ruin me
Better him than me
Better it’s not me
I’m anti, I’m anti
Yeah, and the sex was average with you
Yeah, I’m anti ’cause I had it with you
Okay, I’m auntie like your daddy sister
Auntie like a family picture
And I had way badder bitches than you, TBH
Yeah, that man, he still with you, he can’t leave you
Y’all go on vacation, I bet it’s Antilles

[Interlude]
Let me stop
You know what? Fuck it, let me go

[Part II]

[Chorus]
What? Ayy, what? Ayy, what? Ayy
Girl, you make me wanna cuff you like thе law, huh
Girl, you make me wanna work you like thе job, ayy
I know you a cat, but can your pussy do the dog?

[Verse]
Let’s go pound for pound, I’m in Europe
Chrome Heart Culli’, I had it imported
Got in my feelings, I had to record it
I never met a bitch that wasn’t for it
Don’t pay for pussy, I tip for the service
Let’s keep it frank, I just got dessert
I’m in the G-Wagon Maybach
Just like some currency, baby, they had to convert it
I heard your bank account is on stuck
How can you keep it buck if you ain’t got no bucks?
How can you keep it a hundred if you ain’t got hundreds around ’cause you stackin’ ’em up?
You niggas some pussy, for real
You niggas some sissy, for real
Virginia, I pull up and chill
You know you can’t come where I stay
‘Fore you get caught on a date
‘Fore you get put on a plate, ah
‘Fore you get slid on like skates
‘Fore I get turned up like bass
I know that look on they face
Don’t tell me your scared of Lil’ Drake
Don’t tell me your scared of Lil’ Aubrey
My niggas is crazy, Wallahi
Don’t even know how we escape
The chain on her neck is a A
And she got a lot that she need
So she gotta drop to her knees
Then she can go shoppin’ for free
I got up with a opp at the mall
That nigga was coppin’ a plea
Out the country, I link with OZ
Spendin’ money ain’t foreign to me
You don’t do that shit more than me
You don’t do this shit more than me
He might take you on trips and he might have some hits
But, baby, not more than me
He might be at the trap and order some ones
But ain’t throwin’ more than me

[Chorus]
What? Ayy, what? Ayy, what? Ayy
Girl, you make me wanna cuff you like the law, huh
Girl, you make me wanna work you like the job, ayy
I know you a cat, but can your pussy do the dog?
