Dragon’s Dogma 2: How To Unlock the Warfarer Vocation

dragons-dogma-2-warfarer

Of all the vocations in Dragon’s Dogma 2, Warfarer is the most unique, and also the most overpowered. The trick is that Warfarer is actually a combination of every class. You can equip any weapon, any armor, and use any skill from those you’ve unlocked, plus, using Warfarer will earn you XP to every vocation you’ve already unlocked.

We’ll explain how to get this special class from its Maister, as it can be a little tricky.

The man you want is Lamond, a drunk who sits around in the Volcanic Island Camp in the south of the map, by the entrance to the hot springs there. As a former Arisen – one who failed to kill his dragon – he’s since become a drunk and isn’t keen on talking to strangers. You can earn his favor, though.

To do that, you’ll need to provide him with bottles of Newt Liqueur, a rare alcoholic drink that isn’t easy to find. Thankfully, you can make it by combining Fruit Wine and Saurian Tail. Saurian Tail comes from the lizard-like monsters you can find around the coast of Vermund, you have to physically chop their tails off in battle to loot them though.

After you unlock the Warfarer vocation, you can acquire it from any Vocation Guild.
Capcom, GLHF

Fruit Wine is a little harder to find, but all you need is one. Then, you can take it to Ibrahim’s shop in Checkpoint Rest Town to commission several forgeries. You can create as many copies as you want for 1,600 gold each and then craft them into Newt Liqueur to your heart’s content. Unfortunately, forging the Liqueur itself doesn’t work, so you have to go through the extra steps with the wine.

We gave Lamond a total of five bottles of New Liqueur before he was willing to share his secrets with us, but once we did, the Warfarer vocation was unlocked immediately.
