Dr. Pimple Popper's 'Best Lipomas of 2019' Features a 'Chicken Skin' Removal

Dr. Pimple Popper is giving the people what they want, and apparently, she thinks that they want more lipoma pops. A lipoma is simply an overgrowth of fat cells that cause a bump beneath the skin, but boy, do they make for good pops. In her latest YouTube video, Dr. Pimple Popper — aka dermatologist and TLC's Dr. Sandra Lee — has compiled her best lipomas of 2019 for fans. The result is a compilation of juicy, squishy pops that aren't short on Dr. Lee's famous food comparisons.
Perhaps the standout moment in the video, however, is the lipoma that one subscriber in the comments referred to as a 'taffy-pulling' moment. Dr. Lee's patient has a sizable lipoma on her back just at the base of her neck, and it's not coming out easily. Dr. Lee has already created an incision on the top, and she tries to pry the growth free from the skin using her fingers and some serious elbow grease, but it's not much use.
Ultimately Dr. Lee has to use her surgical tools to begin shredded the lipoma in order to get an adequate grip on the growth. Once she does, the cyst begins to stretch out just like taffy. Once fully removed, the patient is able to see the lipoma and declares not that it looks like taffy but that it resembles 'chicken skin.'
