Dr. Pimple Popper Squeezes Out A 'Glitter Cyst' In A New YouTube Video
  • Dermatologist Sandra Lee, MD, a.k.a. Dr. Pimple Popper is known for squeezing out some massive lumps—from lipomas to blackheads and beyond.

  • This time, Dr. P extracts a "cute" epidermoid cyst, which is a non-cancerous growth typically found in the neck or face.

  • The patient, who didn't want to take photographs at her wedding reception, now plans to do a photo "re-do" in Vegas—cyst-free!

Can a cyst be cute? Dermatologist Sandra Lee, MD, a.k.a. Dr. Pimple Popper certainly thinks so.

Dr. P is back with another juicy video and this time she is taking on the “glitter cyst.” A patient (who is naturally, also a popaholic) came to Dr. P after a bump on the side of her eyebrow started growing.

She had it for about a year, during which she got married, and didn’t want to take photos at the reception. And, I feel you girl—I barely want to take photos if I have a blackhead.

After the vows were said and the party was over, this patient decided to call in the pros. She’s doing a photo “re-do” in Vegas and wants to look and feel confident. Enter: Dr. P and her team!

Dr. Pimple Popper got right down to business, diagnosing the bump as an epidermoid cyst, which is a non-cancerous growth that develops when the top layer of skin is overgrown in a confined space (the more you know!) These are the pops that have sort of a cheesy, gooey consistency, for those in the know.

In the case of the “glitter cyst,” (and I’ll get to that nickname in a second), Dr. P jumped into action quickly, gliding her scalpel across the bump and removing a top layer of skin. Once the patient’s cyst was exposed, the real work began. The doctor snipped all the excess skin, revealing a white bulb. After applying some slight pressure, a white substance oozed right out. And I would say EW if I didn’t replay it to watch the moment of pop (M.O.P) at least four times this morning already!

The doctor got her tweezers around the cyst sac and pulled out a small one-inch circle. Well, that was easy! Both patient and doctor agreed the tiny sac was sort of "cute." That’s where they lost me, but don’t let me yuck your yums ladies!

The patient said her husband wanted to see what came out of the cyst, so she and the doctor developed a plan. The woman said she’d bring home a bag of glitter and tell her husband that’s what was inside of her.

No word on how that went over, but maybe time for a ‘where are they now’ video, doc?
