If you've been following all of the latest, breaking Dr. Pimple Popper news from the past week, you may recall an Instagram video from last Saturday in which Dr. Pimple Popper—aka, dermatologist and TLC host Dr. Sandra Lee, MD—challenged her fans to guess the weight of an absolutely massive lipoma extraction.

In a follow-up Instagram clip published today, Dr. Lee finally broke the suspense, revealing that the lipoma extraction was roughly the weight of an average newborn baby. As Dr. Lee spelled it out in the post's caption, "The winning guess is 7lb 12 oz. It measured as 1/2 oz heavier but I subtracting some due to [excess] fluid from anesthesia and the container holding the lipoma. Congrats, L.O.Bost! Someone will be contacting you soon! And look for the full video on my YouTube channel soon!"

Just in case you haven't been following this news as closely as we have, it's worth noting that lipomas aren't necessarily anything to freak out about—most of the time, anyway. They're simply benign, fatty lumps that sit between the skin and the underlying layer of muscle, according to the Mayo Clinic. Often, they're small enough to ignore. But if they suddenly grow in size, as Dr. Pimple Popper makes a habit of demonstrating, they're relatively easy to treat—if not assess their weight.
